We are now well into our 2nd decade of visiting what we consider the best Italian fine dining in the Barrie area.While there is an entrance on Dunlop Street just East of the 5 points, we always park in the municipal lot behind & enter through the amazing summer rear patio“

“We had a great experience at Bacio, the menu has so many delicious items to choose from! They offer house wine 1/2 L and 1L options, reasonably priced.The food was delicious! Generous portions as well. Friendly and attentive service.It was exactly what we needed after a day of skiing. Definitely recommend!“

“Wow! What a pizza! Stopped here on the way back from a ski trip to grab a quick bite. We ordered the ‘Hand me a towel’ and it was definitely spicy as advertised. This is some of the best pizza I’ve had in Ontario. The quality of ingredients are evident in the taste from the crust to the sauce. Will definitely be back whenever I’m in the area again.“

“Chelyn was our waitress and she was absolutely wonderful. Right from the beginning she made my boyfriend and I feel very welcomed. She was very attentive to all of her tables including ours. Every time she came to our table, she had a big smile on her face. She consistently checked in on us to make sure everything was tasting good and we had everything we needed. The food was wonderful as well but we had a wonderful experience with our waitress and I wanted to make sure she was aware of it.“

“What a great experience tonight! We had an earlier appointment downtown, so, an additional trip would have been required to pick up our pizza. Instead, we ordered and and asked for the pizza to not be fully cooked and OH MY... Once we reheated (on a pizza stone), it tasted exactly like the original! Will DEFINITELY do that again! “Mondos has been a favorite of mine for years, the Veal sandwich and the Meatball sandwich are extremely tasty and the portions are HUGE!On Friday August 25th Joe had his last day operating Mondos in his current location and I wish him nothing but the best moving forward which hopefully includes another location which will receive the same support from everyone this one did!Long live Mondos“

“We went with our 3 kids (who are normally well behaved but were bouncing off the walls) at the end of the evening when my patience was personally shot. The staff was so accommodating and helpful- it genuinely turned my evening around. Food was excellent to top it off- thank you for genuinely everything!
