“Great experience from start to finish (and I’m picky!). Our waiter was fantastic as soon as we walked in. He welcomed us and let us choose a table.
We were provided with food and cocktail menus right away and were never rushed.
We ordered the Antipasto to share as an appetizer which was out of this world. Prior to that we were given a basket of soft warm bread with oil and balsamic.
I had the Veal Limone with capers. My partner had the Vodka Penne. Absolutely delicious and fresh. My tastebuds certainly were treated!
I had a Peroni beer to start off and we each had a glass of wine with the main course- Chardonnay for her and Chianti for me. We finished our experience with a shared lemon sorbet.
The prices were great, the food was top notch, the service splendid!

“I've been passing Union Station for years and seen this restaurant for the same amount of time. It's only now that I finally decided to take my friend and try it out for ourselves. I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese. The noodles has great chew to them. And the bolognese was piping hot and fresh. While definitely not a cheap meal, it was delicious. I do kinda wish the portions were a wee bit larger as I was definitely hungry shortly after. The calamari was also great. Appetizers like calamari have definitely gone up in price over the years, but Amano's is hard to skip. Hahaha. Regardless, I wanna try other dishes in this restaurant in the future.“

“i’ve been going here since they first opened! I don’t have a negative thing to say - i do however wish they had delivery service so i could order their pizzas for delivery 😀 as they are in the other end of town for us.

We really enjoy their pizzas but our all time favourite is their veal sandwich’s and the chicken greek salad. Soooooo good! I sometimes order a side of their hot peppers to throw on my salad.

The veal is tender and it’s very filling, the bun is fresh and soft and it pairs so well with their tomato sauce.
i do wish though that they would also do eggplant as an add on but they’re a successful business so i’m sure they have there reasons not too.

My son absolutely loves their rose sauce so we do often buy their jarred sauce to go. It’s one of our favourite italian bakery’s. The staff are so kind and it’s always a busy place to go so you know it’s great food when you see tons of people there at lunchtime!!!“
