Amano Italian Kitchen Reviews
We reserved seats at the bar for the FIFA football game last Sunday! This was the perfect place to watch the game. Great food, friendly service, and an all-around good vibe. I would highly recommend the meatballs!
Gotta try the summerlicious Risotto if you haven't, one of the best things I've ever eaten
I've been passing Union Station for years and seen this restaurant for the same amount of time. It's only now that I finally decided to take my friend and try it out for ourselves. I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese. The noodles has great chew to them. And the bolognese was piping hot and fresh. While definitely not a cheap meal, it was delicious. Amano Italian Kitchen is a popular dining spot located inside Union Station, offering a delightful culinary experience with a cozy atmosphere. The menu features a variety of tempting dishes, including the beloved mushroom and truffle spaghetti, the classic cacio e pepe, and the spicy sausage and pepper rigatoni, which has received high praise. The restaurant also serves a notable burrata, which is considered a meal all by itself, served over oven-warmed heirloom tomatoes and accompanied by thinly sliced, toasted garlic bread.
The pastas are well-loved, and there are enough options to keep vegetarians satisfied, though vegans might find it more challenging. The atmosphere emulates a European vibe and is surprisingly upscale and comfortable for a busy station location, with good beer, wine, and cocktail selections, along with simple desserts. The decor is modern, and the service has been praised for its excellence, with reviewers highlighting the friendly and helpful staff who are attentive to customers' needs.
The restaurant can be a little noisy when full, and the faux terrace area is somewhat open to pedestrian traffic, but overall, the ambiance remains pleasant. Customers appreciate the efficient service and the skill of the staff in managing the busy restaurant. The fries and whipped feta are also highly recommended, with some reviews calling the fries among the best in the city. Despite some mixed experiences, the overall enjoyment of Amano Italian Kitchen shines through, making it a great choice for a quick bite or a relaxed meal during busy times. Reservations are available, accommodating groups meeting up before events or anyone looking for high-quality food and drink.
