Inside Union Station, enter from York Street side, this was somewhat hard to find if you are not from the area. I thought their wine by the glass selection was limited for an Italian restaurant. Clean, and fairly spaced out, we were seated by one of the windows. We had 8 people. I think generally everyone enjoyed their meal. I'm probably more picky. The meatballs were lacking flavor both the beef and pork meatballs. My spaghetti noodle was vast and I needed more marinara sauce to provide more substance to the dish. I quickly lost interest. The appetizers were good, the salad was tasty. The Afogata; gelato with espresso was good, several ordered that at the table. Others enjoyed the Rose wine and a few enjoyed the Chianti. With so many choices in town this did not stand out for me.

I love getting my morning coffee before work here whenever I’m taking the train into the city. Such sweet, friendly staff and the lattes are always amazing! Great atmosphere, love starting my morning here.

Great food for generally good value. I ordered the Pizza Combo which included 2 large slices of Pizza + Side Salad. The combo was fresh, hot, tasted great, and good portions for reasonable price. The Espresso drink and Tiramisu were also delicious. Tiramisu had lady fingers that were actually dipped in coffee! The restaurant decor design was also cool and the waiter had great energy.

The appetizers, drinks, food and service were fabulous!! Unfortunately, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we had to take some food home. Of all the Italian restaurants in Toronto, we always end up coming to this one at Union Station. It may be a little louder than normal but who cares??? The food makes up for it. Bella!!!

Went with a few friends one evening after work. Seated promptly and the server made some recommendations. I went with the mushroom and truffle spaghetti which was delicious and was a decent sized portion. Tiramisu was nice too. Will be back again

Had dinner with friends at Amano and it was pretty good. Got the brick lasagna, which was generously cheesy and tasty, though a bit small. Also got the tiramisu which was standard.Service and kitchen were efficient. Location is a convenient meeting point since it's by Union Station. Space is compact but well laid out.

The food is good value for money without being memorable, atmosphere is fine. Nice that they can cater for walk-ins.
