Quaint little Italian eatery in downtown Barrie with about 40 seats inside. I had the chicken marsala and it was done perfectly. Service from Sophie was friendly & excellent. It may need some better ventilation in the Summer and a deep clean as it's located in an older house but a great experience otherwise.

I am deeply disappointed with the catering service provided by Limoncello Bistro at our wedding on May 4, 2024, at The Bradford Barn. The level of incompetence and disregard for our special day was staggering and left a lasting negative impression.Dinner was delayed by an unbelievable two hours, and when it was finally served, it was cold. Many of our guests received the wrong orders, leading to widespread frustration. Families with children left before dinner was served, and our photographer was unable to capture key moments like our first dance and cake cutting due to the delay.Despite paying over $10,000 for the catering, the quality of service did not match the price. Most guests did not eat because the delay ruined their appetite, and we were not offered any of the promised leftovers. Additionally, the delayed dinner threw off the entire evening’s schedule, making the cake cutting and late-night poutine station pointless as guests were too full or had already left. The financial impact was significant, as we had to pay our photographer for two hours during which no photos were taken. Emotionally, the frustration and disappointment overshadowed what should have been one of the happiest days of our lives.Limoncello Bistro’s poor service turned our wedding day into a stressful experience. I cannot recommend their catering services to anyone planning a special event.

I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs because I was expecting a traditional spaghetti. Instead what I got was one single meatball the size of my fist and the spaghetti which still had the taste of “reduced” wine that has not been completely reduced. You must be very incompetent to actually ruin spaghetti and meatball. The table we were seated at was a high-top bar like table which was so wobbly I almost spilling my drink twice. We ordered two pasta mains, one appetizer, a salad, bottled water, and a soft drink that came in a glass. It costed us over $80… and on top of that, the minimal tip they prompt you starts at 18% and goes all the way up to 25%Overall the food is mediocre and the price was too high for what it’s worth.

First & Last time we’ll eat here. Upon entry visually the interior is dirty and in need of updating. Temperature was hot inside as it was a hot day that day and none of the A/C’s were on. Front door left open to allow some air to flow through thank goodness. Waited 30mins to get a clean wine glass to share a bottle of wine. Speaking of wine, the selection available was not what you see in menu-they seemed to be out of most wine bottles. They ran out of pizza and their signature 41 salad. The kitchen was very disorganized. Food portions were small, the carbonara pasta was dry, the chicken Marsala was not done with Marsala wine as base sauce as it was a white sauce. I’ve made this dish at home numerous times, so an Italian restaurant should be able to make it better than me.A very disappointing experience(.)

Beyond expectation. I was a little skeptical at first because the restaurant seems like it is not in a great area, but don't let that fool you. This place is a hidden gem. The staff was super friendly, and the food was excellent. The restaurant could use a little work inside in terms of atmosphere but it was clean, warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend Limoncello if you're looking for a diamond in the rough that won't disappoint!

Sadly, the first thing I noticed was a very dirty entrance door. I was the only patron when I arrived, as I waited for friends. The table I chose rocked...as in unbalanced. We often went unnoticed and had to call the server over to ask for water or to ask for anything. The food was acceptable. I expected better. I honestly felt they were probably preparing to shut down their business.

I have been coming here for the past 3 years , the food has never disappointed ever. This place is a hidden gem of authentic Italian food. Be prepared to wait 45 minutes from when you sit down for your food to arrive. This is because they are making everything fresh & with love. Remember... Good food takes time , open kitchen concept you smell your food being prepared. Its amazing and well worth the wait every single time. I order a pizza as an appetizer every time I go. Delicious.

Extremely small servings! Their pizza is extremely small! You would think they make a pizza to fill the box up guess it’s too much work for them ?

Is this place a joke or thinking they can send out uncooked food and just go completely offscript with changing the pizza completely to this boring bland cold mess? What the heck is this? I would be so embarrassed. Cancel an order if you cannot make it. Yikes.
