Ended up going back more than once in just one week with how delicious! My personal recommendation is the Tacos de Barbacoa, absolute life changer Best tacos I've ever had. We also had the Sopecitos, Enchiladas, and Gringa--the Sopecitos are also a great starter! Large menu and super tasty.

I’ve been wanting to try Mexhico for a very long time, but never had the chance to. I arrived early afternoon and the restaurant was quiet. Since it was summer, they also had a small patio, but I decided to sit inside.
I decided to order the stuffed burger, with a side of loaded fries. The burger was very unique, and delicious! The fries were amazing and topped with guacamole and vegan sour cream. For desert I had to try the churros, which were so delicious!
The service at the restaurant was quick and the server was friendly, professional and probably one of the best servers I’ve had in a very long time.
The best Mexican food I’ve had, and overall great experience. My only regret is that I never tried this place earlier. I can’t wait to go back and try other items on their menu!

Legitimately was some of the best food I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious. I had the “chicken” flautas which came with a side of rice and refried beans. I also had the nachos and a Mexican coffee. Everything was 10/10 and I will definitely be returning. I loved the decor as well, the interior was unique and beautiful. Service was also wonderful!

You might think "it's vegetarian or vegan, how good could it be compared to real chicken or beef?" The answer is simple: very VERY good. Tastes that are familiar but with a twist. Variety. Expect tofu with sauce? No way.... this is way beyond that with layers and nuances of flavour and texture. Owner said the lockdowns have been very difficult so GO and eat. Eat well, eat often, support a local business with something else and exciting for your mouth. Sincerely, a carnivore.

BEWARE.. our server was also the owner I assume since it was his family working including kids inside. With only a few other tables in the restaurant, our wait times to order drinks or food was extremely long clearly no serving experience. BILLS was a whole new situation, completely screwed up the first bill of our two friends who left. So later decided to make us pay for his mistakes without talking to us, then when I spoke out about it he told me to " back off or else" acting very threatening. Will never go back nor will any of us and make sure to tell others of the experience.

I made a special stop a 4 hour road trip off the recommendation of a friend and am I ever happy I did! We ordered the Gringa and the cheesy steak tacos with a side of refried beans, all was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!

I was in the area and decided to stop in to try a new restaurant while in Barrie. I wasn’t aware that it was a plant based restaurant, however, I like to try new things so I went with it. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour and texture.
I really recommend the chicken fajitas here. The salsa sauce was suitable for the meal, which even made me add two more pieces of tortilla !

Mexhico is an all vegan restaurant where every item on the menu is made from scratch. The nachos were fully loaded and the blue corn tortillas from the sopecitos dish was the perfect texture. Every dish had amazing flavours that complimented the dishes textures. We ordered a side of various spiced salsas to add an extra kick to our meal. Our server was amazing and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend checking out Mexhico vegan or not.

Wait! Are you saying that's not ground beef? What? How to make vegan taste like food! I may get some haters for that comment, but I need to share, how amazing and authentic this Mexican restaurant is - without meat! It's filling. It's amazingly delicious. You must eat here! Meals, drinks, desserts, authentically delicious, oh my!! The partners are truly lovely people, passionate about the food and service they provide. Yes! Feel good place to enjoy traditional foods, a la vegan (even for meat eaters - yup, trust me). Enjoy.
