I was worried with all the bad reviews but it it was pretty good. I got wow size. Which is enough for 2-3 people. I didn't close the box when i got the poutine so fries didn't get soggy. It was alot of gravy. I can see why some people don't like. I personally prefer extra gravey.

I wouldn’t recommend it anymore actually . It went downhill since the 2010s . 3” chilli cheese on a bun cold for $9 . I know we’re in an inflation crisis but still I feel robbed.

I have eaten here more times than I can count, but today's horrible reheated fries should not have even been allowed to leave the store. Honestly who orders poutine made with reheated fries. But on the plus side thank goodness for there always fresh cheese curds at least I could eat them.

Don't waste your money here. We waited 30 mins for our poutine, guy told us that Uber eats gets priority. Not only that but the poutine itself is one of the worst I've had. Fries are hard and definitely not fresh. The worst. I wanted to go ask for a refund but didn't have time. Also there should be more ppl working not just 1 person. Just terrible. This has got to be the worst Smokes so far. Even the food trucks are better. How do u mess this up? Do better or shut down.
Reply for owner: the long wait time is one thing and I can overlook that but the real issue here is the quality of your food!!! If you took the time to read more reviews you would see it's pretty consistent. Even comments from a year ago have the same complaint. Clearly, you haven't addressed it. The fries are terrible. They are stale and hard. I've never had fries like this ever before. I don't need a free meal, cuz I'm not coming back there ever again. But do better for other customers at least. This is not acceptable. I feel like I got cheated, paid over $30 for very very crappy food. Doesn't seem like you care about your business since you've allowed this to go on way too long.

The gentleman who was working there was so friendly and personable! We chatted for several minutes while he prepared my food, the conversation and overall interaction with the man who worked there really brightened my day, excellent customer service! I ordered the buffalo califlower ranch poutine with chicken gravy instead of veggie gravy. It was delicious, I got the medium size and there was enough in it that I will have leftovers for later. Will definitely go again.

It's been some time since we've had Smoke's. Used to get it from the original Queen Street location in Toronto all the time (gone now) and was happy to have a location open in Barrie. The quality of the product we received was not what I used to get. Fries were undercooked, gravy was thin, toppings and cheese curds were sparse. I should have realized when we were asked multiple times if we wanted to add anything additional to our poutine. That was never required before. Will not be going back to this location anytime soon...and my next visit to a Smoke's will determine if the franchise is now a write off.
