I ordered a Venti Iced Coffee and was really disappointed. The cup wasn’t even filled all the way—definitely not what I paid for—and on top of that, the cup was sticky and messy to hold. Overall, one of the worst experiences I’ve had with Starbucks. Really hoping this gets addressed.
I like Starbucks coffee
I come to this starbucks all the time, and have been for years to study. I always purchase a drink, I understand that to sit in there you need to buy something. This time me and my friend sat down and it was empty except for one other person. We were getting our school work out (it had been less than 3 minutes). One of the employees came over and asked us if we were ready to order, we said not yet because we were going to mobile order it, and we wanted a minute to decide. He said “well these tables are for paying customers only” and just stood there staring at us awkwardly. It was rude to put us on the spot and make us feel unwelcome considering we had just sat down, no one was waiting for a table and were about to spend 8 dollars on a drink. I never write reviews but coming from a company who prides themselves on a welcoming and cozy atmosphere this guy was super impolite. P.S. I love all the baristas I usually talk to- this was a unique experience…
Really good staff. Gave me a flooding smile. Very nice and gentle.
I piece of feedback— the employees who are doing paperwork are constantly taking up seats. Surely there’s somewhere else for them to sit? Normally wouldn’t be a problem, but there’s only 4-5 tables in the whole place. For the second time, I had to leave because the employee took the last seat from me. I won’t be back because of this. I’ll be at the one down the road.
I am not even sure where to start .... For a Starbucks, you would expect much of the same between locations. This is a different location and we will not be returning. It started off with trying to get into the lot and find parking - limited and frustrating. The kids wanted the new Snowman Cake pops only to learn they didn't have any left after our server went on a hunt. We were obviously not the priority for our drinks as they focused more on the drive-thru then our needs. Someone had to remind someone else we were waiting there. There is limited seating here and no room for us to sit - looked like someone was doing their homework and had a whole table to themselves (this is not on the staff). The garbage was quite full to the brim and it didn't seem to be a cleaner location. Not an absolute bust but I was disappointed and expect better. If someone reads this, I hope they aim to make the necessary improvements or you will lose customers.
Bad customer service. They forgot our snowman cake pop the first time, I called to say we'll be back for it. I got back there and they didn't have any of those left. I don't know why they wouldn't put it aside for me. Also, the gingerbread late didn't taste like gingerbread at all.
I come to this location a lot as I work in the Georgian mall, the staff are amazing and very caring about their customers. The only thing I don’t particularly like is the layout of the drive thru and the parking lot, however thats a city issue. I came to the drive thru the other day and the person who made my drink made it wrong but I told Or at the register and he was super kind and attentive and made me a new drink very quickly! He’s served me a few times and every time is a pleasure!

Starbucks is already expensive enough. Now there is a TIP request on the point of sale in the drive-through?!?!?! This was never the case when people paid cash. Starbucks employees are amongst the highest paid in the service industry.

Stopped here while charging our car but very disappointed on the blandness of this Sbux. What could have been a cozy coffeehouse to enjoy our drinks while waiting , it was just sub par: first they had no teas to offer and the barista was so reluctant to offer any alternatives. When we ordered a dark roast coffee because we didn’t like the blends they were brewing, she wasn’t too happy to oblige, and we were the only customers, she just lacked the enthusiasm you’d expect from a barista. The cafe’s decor was just sad, what could have been a beautiful focal wall as it is the first thing you see when you enter, its just a plain wall with low shelves for merch that isn’t properly displayed. Ot seems that they are storing furniture or something that isn’t properly displayed covered by a tarp behind the trashcan, couldn’t they place it elsewhere? Poor experience, the new CEO has his work cut out if he wants to turn Sbux around, tip #1: stop selling olive oil (really, just why?) and focus and providing good coffee, knowledgeable baristas and cozier coffehouses

One of the cleanest and most well run Starbucks which makes up for its awkward location/parking.
My barista was so helpful and made my experience happy and helped me figure out what i really wanted. I actually chose a new drink based on a sample they served me :)

I'm not a fan of Starbucks. I prefer small local cafes especially if they have local roasting. However Starbucks has some convenient locations and a consistent product. I chose this particular location out of convenience. While I appreciate it was busy with drive-through patrons I would still expect friendly service. We had to ask for the sticky table to be wiped. The staff member we dealt with may be having a bad day. I've been there myself in a hospitality role, but my customers never would have guessed it. It takes effort to pull that off and many people do it well - just not here today.
The coffee is as one would expect from Starbucks. The treats are prefabricated and should be skipped unless you're desperate.
I'll take the time to try an independent cafe downtown next time I am in Barrie.

Worst experience I've had of a Starbucks ever tried to order a drink and the barista. Cody argued with me and cut me off. He ordered my drink wrong and was very rude. Will be going to the other one closer to the highway in the future.

I frequent this location since it’s close to work but lately I can’t be confident I have time to go because it’s usually before work or at lunch and the last few weeks I get stuck in the drive through for wayyyyy too long.
