Needed a quick meal before a gig and this was close and recommended to me by a friend. Chicken was tender, jerk sauce generous and saturating the rice. Whole meal was affordable and ready to go on short notice. Will need to try the oxtail next time I’m in town

👌 good jerk chicken.
I wanted to try a new spot in Barrie as the place I usually go to on Mapleview declined in their quality of food over the years. I saw the reviews for Jerk Marshall and thought we would give it a try.
As soon as you walk in, you’re immediately greeted with a friendly smile as well. The young lady helping us was very sweet and gathered our food efficiently quick. She was personable and made you feel like a reoccurring customer while knowing it was our first time there.
We ordered a large oxtail with extra oxtail gravy on the rice, large fried chicken with extra oxtail gravy on the rice and a small friend chicken and of course oxtail gravy on the rice. We also ordered extra coleslaw and pasta salad and a festival, plus peanut punch. It came up to around $65 I believe.
But let me tell you, the portions were exceeding my expectations and the quality was chefs kiss… REALLY good. Growing up in Brampton and having bomb food like that at many spots to living in Barrie and having limited places to go to… I’m ecstatic to now have tried this place. They now have a loyal customer from us and I suggest you all give it a shot too!!
Promise you won’t be disappointed.

Came here for the first time today as I’ve been wanting to for a while . Got the large jerk chicken with rice and peas with oxtail gravy on the rice and it was delicious! Curry goat was delicious and the girl working Tuesday July 15th lunch shift was sooooo kind, give her a raise fr !
Jamaican restaurants are notorious for having people with bare attitude but this girl was so down to earth and had such good customer service even helped me with my baby.
People like her will bring more business and keep people coming back.
Kindness goes a long way!
Didn’t get her name but big ups to her!
Also the guy working was nice too.
10/10 experience

Amazinggggg food !!! Best Jamaican food in Barrie by far! My family has been searching for a spot that reminds us of the city (Toronto) Jamaican cuisine and they pasted our expectations. Wish I had photos but I demolished my plate as soon as I opened it LOL

Best fried chicken I’ve had and great late night service, awesome staff :)
Meat is tender and seasoned great. Just a lot of bone alongside the goat . A side of rice underneath the curry. It was small portion for the price of 17$ (for the small size) but everywhere is now similar in pricing, I guess. Here is a photo of it partly eaten. Would be filling for one person.
