Absolutely horrible experience in Barrie. waiter staff were rude, I asked the manager about being told I had to pay an 18% tip and it was mandatory (I just was curious about the mandatory tipping system, I have no issues with tipping) the manager then said that we had to pay our bill and leave, we had a large crew of kids and spent over $1000.00, this manager shouldnt be in a position to deal with the public, she was rude and very hostile.
I had my young Grandson there on Sunday 21st July 2024 and we (total of 9) were goung to have lunch there and a fun afternoon. Imagine my shock to see a drag Queen show. Totally inappropriate for 2,4,7 and 12 year olds to watch. They were in thongs and parading in front of little ones. Could this have not been done later in the evening when the smaller children have left? Will never go back.
We used to love the Rec Room this is the 3rd year in a row we have come to celebrate 3 child birthdays together in one day. The last 2 years were Awesome but this year was the worst! They changed the menu to cheaper versions such as they no longer had the pita and spinach and cheese dip platter which was awesome and had the cheapest platter of nachos and specialty cheese that tasted and smelled like mushroom soup.
