My husband and I just had the Date Night Prefix menu tonight. Our first visit was not a disappointment. The atmosphere, the food and the service was all 100% Can’t wait till it warms up to try the yurt!
Olio delivers an impressive menu, though the physical space could use a bit more attention.
The highlight here is definitely the food. The scratch-made pasta program is excellent—flavourful, perfectly executed, and easily the standout of the meal. I don't know what was better, the service or the food!!! Both were exquisite!! Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience ! Will definitely be back!

Olio Bayfield offers an impressive menu with a scratch-made pasta program that is excellent, flavourful, and perfectly executed. The pizza execution leans into an ultra-thin, highly crispy dough structure. The food is absolutely fantastic, with standout dishes including the pasta, carpaccio, a “Bayfield” pizza on a cauliflower crust, creme brûlée, halibut w/risotto, and specials like watermelon gazpacho and seafood risotto. The service is excellent, exceptionally pleasant, and attentive. The dining experience is superb, with a small space, cozy outdoor patio, and a yurt available in winter. The wine list is small but perfectly paired with the meal. However, the exterior dining area feels neglected and needs a thorough cleaning. Some dishes, like the Caprese salad, lasagne, and Sea Bass with lemon risotto, have lacked basics and been overdone. Despite this, the kitchen team knows what they are doing. The restaurant is priced for a premium tourist market, but the value is fair for Bayfield. A reservation is recommended.
