“Had an excellent experience for a Saturday breakfast on a rainy morning. We were greeted and seated immediately although there was nobody waiting. Our server Linda was friendly, courteous and very attentive to refilling our coffee and water and helping with menu selection. The food was good, hot and generous portions. Overall we had an enjoyable meal and great service!”

“Went here the first time on a recommendation from a friend. We had been meeting other places before but I did not like the atmosphere at the last place we went. Came to Asmara and it was lovely. The atmosphere feels clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, really great vibes! In my opinion this is the nicest coffee place in London if you want to meet a friend to "catch up".”

I think the only downside for me is the location and the fact that they don’t have a change table in the washroom. But aside from that, they have great restaurant service and good food!”

“My mom and I went for the first time yesterday. Dad is in the hospital for Stage 4 Kidney Cancer surgery and after a long day in the hospital, we wanted a quick bite before turning in the the night. Our server , Jess, was amazing. Very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Our food was phenomenal and we had such a pleasant experience. “I came across this restaurant by accident as it was advertising a Bun Cha special. This place has very authentic specials on their Facebook page and you will miss them if you’re not subscribed. Their Bun Cha is just like the one I enjoyed in Hanoi where the dish originated. Great service and I have returned to try some other dishes as well. Always hot and fresh. Delicious!”

“Had another amazing brunch here yesterday. I had the eggs Benedict (they were PERFECT), sister in law had the big breakfast plate and niece had the Nutella banana pancakes and the look of joy on her face was amazing. The food was all so good, and the service there is the real star since they're very attentive and check up often which I always appreciate. I can't recommend them enough.”

It has been beautifully transformed into an elegant yet cozy and quaint “still a favourite “ place to eat in London. My meal was delicious and nutritious and the host/server was as friendly and welcoming as I’ve always remembered. They have truly raised the bar and kept the quality and service. Thank you all for your hard work and brave dedication to seafood cuisine and neighborly charm❣️”

“Once in a while when I go to pick up bread at the Portuguese bakery, I smell an amazing BBQ smoke smell coming from a couple of businesses down. It smells amazing and gets my get taste buds watering. I finally decided to pick up some jerked chicken and I was not disappointed. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned. The jerk sauce was good if a bit on the mild side. I tend to eat on the crazy spicey side, so the spice level is probably good for most people. I can't wait to try their goat and pork. I'd recommend picking some fresh Portuguese bread to go along with the BBQ dish. Through in a nice bottle of red wine, and you have an amazing meal.”
