“We had a Birthday Party for my Brother at Fat Jimmy's. I would highly recommend going there. The Staff was awesome, food was amazing, prices were great.The owner even came over to see us and say Hi!. Highly recommend eating there. I had their Perch Dinner and it was delicious. My husband had their two piece haddock fish and chips. He loved it. Their coleslaw is absolutely delicious. Everyone else that ordered absolutely loved their meal. Their portions are huge. “I placed an order for delivery for just outside of Blenheim a couple kilometers and I started a timer the second I placed the order on my phone. My food arrived in literally 24 minutes. That includes making it and driving it slightly out of town. Excellent excellent review all the way around. Best pizza hut I've dealt”

“I had to review Red Barn a day after Total Eclipse Day that Red Barn so graciously and amazingly opened for. The soundtrack they had playing during the lead up was haunting adding so much of the ambience and then as the moon was just sliding past totality, they played "Her comes the sun". Perfect. And being such an open location, with farms all around, it has to be one of the most serene breweries to be at. Georgeous. But enough about how they put on the best show around for the Eclipse, let me say, that their low abv beers are killer. Their Eclipse Day beer was an excellent dessert stout The pretzels they have usually are a perfect match with a beer to just hangout at a beautiful brewery. Nicely done everyone, you make every visit well worth the drive down.”

The only reason not 5 stars was it is cash only, which I feel in today's day that limits most, I don't often carry cash that day thankfully I had some otherwise would have had a disappointed child. “Stopped here for some ice cream on a beautifully sunny day with my son, his wife and my grandkids. Ice cream was Shaw ice cream and in my opinion it is one of the best ever. It was more of a heavy snack than a lunch, admittedly, but it only cost $10!! ($5 for the pint, $5 for the pretzels)It's worth mentioning that I was there after the 2024 eclipse.
