This wasn’t jerk chicken at all. I was extremely disappointed. I placed my order in the morning, thinking I’d receive fresh food, but instead I was served food that was clearly old based on how stale it tasted. To make matters worse, the flavour was nothing like authentic jerk. I felt compelled to leave this review so others aren’t misled. If you’re actually familiar with Caribbean food, you’ll know this is not authentic jerk. Someone who isn’t from the Caribbean or doesn’t know Caribbean cuisine might think this is how it’s supposed to taste, but it isn’t. Save your money.

The food was fantastic. I bought a large meal for myself and for my mother and sister as well. The only issue was that they didn't have fried dumplings but with any Jamaican restaurant having fried dumplings or festival on hand is hit or miss.

The flavour of the soup was good but didn't have any spinners and little food. 1 of my Patty's was ok the other was so dry it was more like beef jerky patty. Used to be a regular until we moved, thought I would stop by while in the area. Big disappointment

Hmm! I bought a curry goat which total came to almost $18. I was checking my account two days after this purchase and saw that I was charged $21 plus. Do you guys have a fraudulent debit system there that changes the price after customers leave your restaurant?

Absolutely delicious food at Gems Jerk Chicken! I had the jerk chicken with rice & peas, coleslaw, festival fried dumpling, and everything was seasoned to perfection. The jerk chicken was flavorful, juicy, and cooked just right with the perfect amount of spice. The rice & peas were fresh and tasty, the coleslaw added a nice balance, and the festival and fried dumpling were the perfect finishing touch. Amazing customer service, generous portions, and authentic Caribbean flavor. Highly recommend if you’re looking for comfort food that’s full of flavor!

I do not usually do reviews but I had to this time. This is the worst food I have ever bought. I say bought because there was no part that was edible. I wasted all my money. I had oxtail there was absolutely no meat just ALL fat and bones with what looked like soup. The taste was also horrible. The fried dumplings were also horrible. I was not able to eat anything from it. Gizzadas were dry and horrible. I will NEVER return.

i regret going here every time, yesterdays food, served today. i tossed out the rest after ate a few forks of rice and the drumstick. there version of jerk chicken, more like hot pepper chicken.
Ordered through uber eats when the food arrived it was evident that food was spoiled 🤢 the smell alone could you let you know the food was bad , not a way to serve customers even if it’s a delivery order

Growing up in a Jamaican household, I know exactly what authentic oxtail should taste like. Because my family set such a high standard, I usually avoid ordering oxtail at restaurants because I’m often left disappointed when it doesn’t measure up. That said, my order from this restaurant yesterday truly impressed me. The oxtail was tender, fall off the bone, and full of rich, authentic flavour. They also weren’t stingy with the extra gravy on the rice, which I really appreciated. A very happy customer, keep up the great work! (This was an order made via uber)

On top of that, the food was not good at all. It was bland, poorly prepared, and did not taste fresh. For the price, I expected much better quality and service. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
