I got mutton lamprais at Maya’s in Brampton. The food’s quality and quantity are great. The taste is fantastic. It’s reminds me of how our family’s food tastes back home in Sri Lanka. It has 5 veggie curries, one non-veggie curry, some neththali fries, a fish fry, an egg and a fish cutlet. It’s more than enough for three adults. It’s only $20.00. Come to Maya’s. Enjoy!

Visited Maya’s Restaurant in Brampton had a great experience. We ordered lump rice, sugar bun, kottu, and tea. Everything was really tasty and fresh. The flavors were excellent, and the food was served fresh. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

I went to Maya's today on Canada Day 1st July 2026. Owner was very welcoming, his name is Raj. nice gentleman, very polite. The food I bought, Idli and Medu Wada combos, with their home made Chutney, delicious! Too amazing. Sambar was also very very tasty. Raj gave provided awesome service, absolutely delicious food! I will definitely make it a point to go there regularly.

CHEF SPIT IN MY FOOD!!

I ordered a veggie kothu for pick up, and came to pick it up and it was the near end of the day and there wasn’t a lot of food left so I asked the guy behind the counter, wearing a chef uniform, if there were any deals going on. For some reason he got upset as we paid and then after we paid I watched him open the package and SPIT IN IT. I was too stunned to say anything in the moment and just left the store. Crazy experience. Honestly the prices have been going up and the quality has been going down for a while but this was the last straw. Honestly unbelievable. Never coming back here terrible food, terrible people!

The breakfast spread here is absolutely phenomenal. The idlis were cloud-soft, incredibly fluffy, and melted in my mouth instantly. The vadas were the perfect contrast—shatteringly crispy on the outside, light and airy on the inside, and not greasy at all. Everything tied together beautifully with the sambhar, which was served piping hot, perfectly spiced, and had a deep, authentic tangy flavor.

Anna working here is the best, i like the food taste from here is tea, samosa, fried rice, prawns, tandoori chicken and almost all the things. MUST TRY 💯

I have ordered 4 chicken pattis and given 4 mutton pattis. Next day i went and complained and shown a picture of pattis the guy has given. He said its not his problem and never refund. Very disapointed.

Went here for the first time on the weekend. Initially went there for lunch and came back again for dinner, as the food was tasty and the portions were big. Price was also very reasonable. The owner was very welcoming. He even let us try sample of vada, devilled squid/chicken/shrimp. The Masala tea was one of the best we had. Great spot and Will definitely come back again. Thanks for the great hospitality.

I ordered a mutton kothu roti takeout from this restaurant and requested extra onion and egg. They charged an additional $1.50 for each, which felt really overpriced. On top of that, the food wasn’t even that tasty , it lacked flavor. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here.
