Food was lacking flavour, as if it were a day old, not many selections and very high in price.

Friendly staff. Great vibe. Cooking tables were fantastic. Clean bathrooms. So much better than the Mandarin. Coming back again with family and again with friends.

Wok of Fame is a great spot for anyone who enjoys variety in their dining experience. As a buffet-style restaurant with live cooking stations, it offers an impressive range of cuisines, including Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and Western dishes. The live stir-fry and teppanyaki stations are the real highlights—watching the chefs prepare your meal fresh is an experience in itself.
The food is flavorful, and there’s something for everyone, from sushi and dim sum to desserts and salads. The seafood section, especially the shrimp and mussels, stood out for its freshness. The dessert bar was equally satisfying, with a selection of cakes, ice creams, and even a chocolate fountain.
The ambiance is lively yet welcoming, making it perfect for family outings or group gatherings. The service was attentive, with staff ensuring plates were cleared promptly and drinks were refilled without delay.
Overall, Wok of Fame offers a unique dining experience with plenty of choices to satisfy diverse tastes. It’s a place worth visiting for both the food and the interactive dining experience.

I am suprised that there is a tip cup at each cooking location. It is right in front on the counter while taking the food. Now it is so much focus on the tips. It makes me uncomfortable as I forget to carry changes to drop of at the cup or enjoy my meal. Plus after our meal an additional tips of 15% or more. These tip business are costing more than HST

It’s our second time there, and it’s not the same as the first time. Food choices are good, ambiance is perfect. But the mussels taste like it is left over from yesterday. Siu Mai is dry. They didn’t clean the shrimps. The mussels with mayo and my brother’s plate have hair in it.
And one thing for workers; i know walking all around all day is tiring, but why the faces and their aura looks like they hate to see you coming.

Alright, after coming for some good time. Food Quality was good in early days, now its degrading and more or less the same.
While prices are steadily increasing. Was $35, now $46/ person
Service and Atmosphere is also bout the same, definitely to come here for special occasions i guess.
Food quality can be a little better atleast

Came here on a Saturday for lunch to try it out. I thought they have sashimi since I saw it in the menu but they didn’t served any that time so that’s a bit of a let down for the price as Mandarin has sashimi all the time. This place did serve sushi and maki and these are fine. Lots of food choices nevertheless and I did enjoy the experience. I like the sesame balls and desserts. They have a stir fry section where you pick your own uncooked food first and then let them cook it in front of you though I didn’t tried it. I did ate a lot of seafood dishes - basa, salmon and I think cuttle fish? can’t remember 100% the last one. I prefer Mandarin than here but I don’t mind coming back here once in a while for a change.

I put in a perfect review of this place 2 years ago and has been coming here once every few months when my household is celebrating or we have out-of-towners we are treating and want to impress. This friday lunch we came shocked on how suddenly bare the buffet is for weekday lunch. the whole row beside the live grill now sits empty and is now a dinner exclusive. No more waffle area, no more creme brule, the sushi area now only have maki (not a single sushi or sashimi offering). the whole place is now just a very expensive Manchu Wok with whats left. Never going back here again with family.

This place felt like the final boss of buffets when I went as a kid; it looked massive to me, and they'd have some guy on the grand piano playing River Flows in You as live ambience.
I did go again in recent times and... Everything just looked cheapened, and all the excellent food I remembered in the past ended up just being... A bunch of thoroughly Americanized "Chinese" cuisine. It's a serviceable buffet, but honestly I now see it on almost the same level as Mandarin.
