“I wish I could give them 5 stars. It is a really good pizza. The dough is good, the ingredient quality is good, and the topping amount is generous. Also, the price is competitive and their customer service is good.
The only reason is not a 5 stars pizza for me is the sauce. And don't get me wrong, it is good quality, and some people say it's their favorite thing about the pizza place, but it is not of my taste. It has a distinct flavor that feels alien and kicks my taste buds in a way that screams 'this ingredient should not be here'. It is the fennel/light anis flavor that gives a licorice aftertaste. I understand in some places like Naples, sometimes it is used, but I can't stand it. And is not the flavor per se. I am used to the flavor in other dishes and even beverages. It is just not for pizza.
Most Italian pizzaiolos would say the secret to a good pizza sauce is to use good sauce tomatoes and to keep it simple.
Full disclosure, I've been to Italy and tried their different pizzas. Also tried pizzas in different countries and it is understandable that as in almost every dish, there are local variations to adapt to the local preferences.
I guess it is a personal preference. I wish I could just take the flavor out or just have the option of a traditional tomato sauce with no other ingredients.
I recommend the place and I will come back almost every time because it is the go to option in my household.“

“This Pizza Hut location is at a gas station, but definitely isn’t your typical gas station pizza! It’s take out only. We’d hoped to enjoy their well-advertised $2 Tuesday deal but they were already sold out of personal pan pizza dough by 5 pm. We were offered a medium single item for $8 instead. We were disappointed the offer wasn’t available, but the pizza was very good. Had 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 Italian sausage. The “sealed fresh” sticker on the box came undone in the car…make sure you re-seal it before you leave the premise. Will be returning.“

“Glad to have a spot like this in town, especially since it stays open later than most places—makes it a solid go-to when you’re looking for something after hours. I tried the pizza and thought it was pretty solid—flavourful, with a good crust and generous toppings. The wings were surprisingly meaty and had a decent kick. Prices are fair for what you get, and the staff were friendly and quick with my order. I’ve only tried a couple things so far, but based on that, I’d def recommend giving it a shot—especially if you’re into comfort food that hits the spot without overcomplicating things. “Pizza Roma is still the best place in Brantford to get Pizza and salad and wings for a decent price. When they say lg they mean large. They havent succumbed to shrinkflation. When I want an excellent Ceasar salad with great tasting ceasar dressing I call them. Their cheese n garlic bread fingers are not skimpy. The wings are also excellent. The hot sauce is just right. Very tasty food. Very satisfying. I like supporting Brantfords home grown Pizza place.“

“We had a delightful experience at the Brantford Eastside Mario’s thanks to our Server Aidan Shaw. He was so amazing! He was one of the best servers that we ever had in Ontario! He educated us on all the new menu items, he explained how the “all you can eat works” and took the time to ensure that we made the best choices. We had no idea you could change up your pasta and add sides like meatballs to your dishes! Aside from Aidan’s great service, the kitchen was fast, Wally the Robot was helpful, and the other Servers and host staff all made a concerted effort to work together as a Team! “Great pizza, really unique out of all the pizza places in town.My only problem (and im unsure if its a corporate rule or management) but they seem to be a little conservative with their toppings. Would have given a 5 star but I've ordered the large 8 topping anyway special twice now, and both times had ordered with either double bacon or extra cheese only to recieve a normal amount of both each time. The last pizza had multiple spots where there wasn't even any cheese on it despite having extra cheese as a selected topping.That being said, the staff are all friendly and the pizza is always delicious. A little pricey, but never disappointed.“

“I love this place. I have been ordering from there pick up and delivery dor probably a decade now. Unsure if the same owner is there or not. Anyways on to my pie, I ordered online for pick up as they have a great online special half price medium. We ordered a medium pepperoni with Stromboli's sauce. I found it to be cooked perfect, crust wad nice and fluffy, cheese was melted perfect in my opinion, the pizza was ready in 25 minutes and Im just happy its still there.“
