brandtford classic! from a dying era, service is a bit slow but understandable and well worth the wait, the portions are HUGE and generous. the old man owner still works the register - i would really like to think he’s still working because he wants to be not because he has to.
I moved out east almost 6 years ago. Admirals was always the spot growing up from going with my parents to stopping in after a pink show at the fort plant and stopping in every time I came home in my adult years. Every single time it was Harry behind the counter with a big smile. It’s sad to hear of his passing and to think of not seeing him next time I fly home and stop in for my order of cheese balls.
