They hardly ever have cold slaw. Otherwise the food taste great.

Lunch special is 2 pieces of small chicken and some rice and peas. When asked about coleslaw they say they don't include it anymore

The portion is such a rip off, beyond disappointed. I spent $24 for 2 tablespoons of Ackee and callaloo this is ridiculous. They put a dumpling underneath the Ackee and callaoo so the portion is way smaller than it looks from the surface. I been to so many Jamaican restaurants, never been ripped off like this and the food was soo oily! Taste was good but the food was swimming in oil and dumpling not cooked properly. Waste of money definitely never visiting again

Third time ordering from Taste of Jamaica and I’m hooked 🔥
Jerk pork & oxtail = 10/10, fried plantains are sooo good. Also, Kim is the sweetest! Best Jamaican spot I’ve tried so far.

The jerk chicken, rice and peas I ordered was really good!! And it was my first time buying food there! I will definitely go back again.

The food is inconsistent here. Sometimes it is decent and sometimes it’s terrible. They constantly run out of coleslaw. I always order stew chicken and sometimes there is lots of gravy and sometimes it is dry as a bone. Often there is a long wait time even if i order ahead of time. I don’t find the staff to be very friendly either. I probably will not order again because I don’t know if I will get a good meal

10/10 I must say and be very honest... their customer service skills is ON POINT. Very friendly and feels like being apart of a great family.... mama Kim you are absolutely gorgeous and stunning. Keep up the greatest cooking .... I crave their stew peas soup OMG I need that in my life lol 😆 but love yous and I'm always wanting to eat from their atleast every time im in Brantford!! This is our go-to spot in the city for a taste of home when we're not up to cooking it ourselves, and also for catering. The porridges, soups, chicken, fish, curry goat and oxtail are all delicious! One little member of our household always gets patties, and is never disappointed. Kim and her staff are always kind, and the Christian music adds a welcome vibe!

The lunch special at Jamaican’s Kitchen always hits the spot! Such a good price for the portion size — you definitely get your money’s worth. The food is always filling but somehow still leaves you craving more!

The jerk chicken with slaw as part of the lunch special just hits different every time. So flavourful and satisfying. Definitely a go-to for a solid lunch!

Very special hidden gem in the city with extremely legit Jamaican cuisine, THE most flavourful and delicious curry goat and oxtail that we’ve had outside of the GTA, and every other dish they serve is arguably tastier than any we’ve had in jamaica…Kim is fantastic and provided my wife and I with outstanding hospitality. 11/10 highly recommended, have ordered from here numerous times and always look forward to the next!!
