I usually love this place, but my last visit was disappointing.The seafood chowder was bland and over thickened. We waited, in my thoughts, too long after asked for salt and pepper to be brought to the table. Can't beat the view though!
Do not order the seafood chowder. It was Terrible. No taste of seafood. It was over powered with chives and was so thick with the taste of flour...Two other people in our group enjoyed the liver and the chicken mushroom linguini, but the chowder was a huge disappointment.

The restaurant was still closed today because of their fire last summer but the owner was super gracious about allowing dozens of strangers come to watch the eclipse from their beautiful deck. She opened up the almost fully renovated restaurant so people could use the washrooms and was a wonderful host even though there was nothing for sale and no expectation that anyone was going to be there. I am very much looking forward to coming to enjoy this gem when they open again next...read full review
