You must be prepared to be surprised by a delicious meal. They don’t serve regular bar food at the Barley Mow. Everything we tried was delicious. Meals made with tasty and carefully selected ingredients. Original recipes and excellent service.
Very average food, friendly service but not very attentive. Not offered water and getting a second cup of coffee even when ordering dessert. Wouldn’t go back because lots of other places to eat close by. I had great company so it wasn’t a complete bust.

Had a great meal with the some great friends. All was well till we all saw the baseball cap wearing bartender spit on the floor. Not once but twice. Totally grossed us out. If I go back I'll be asking for a table away from the bar so I won't have to witness such revolting behaviour. We were all pretty grossed out
Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of gluten-free options other than sandwich or burger on a GF bun. A few gf appetizers options would be nice.
