Nice taco spot! The vibes were solid and it looks like a popular place for the locals. Food was good too - tried the fish taco, achiote chicken, and brisket. All were good but definitely recommend the OG fish taco the most!

Like the mule but smaller quieter and with the same food. Maybe better food with some more vegetarian options. Vibe is certainly less lively, but I think it certainly works with the location.

Were at Burro last night before a live music show which was nice as it was so close nearby. Very good food!! Fresh, flavourful and interesting and extensive drinks menu to try. Love the flights option.Personally as we were there very early (5:30/6), I just went with the WAP ~ Watermelon and Peach) Margarita which was a little too good, lol ~ had to order a second versus trying another flavour, which was also tempting. We tried the chorizo pork belly nachos to start, followed by brisket and fish tacos, achiote chicken and ground pork/beef tacos too (two tacos each) and all were delicious as well as generously portioned.Think tapas — you can mix and match and try as you go which is fun. We had time before our show so liked the aspect that there was so much on the menu that appealed to us to potentially choose from.Couldn’t pass up dessert, two great choices but as we were pretty full we opted on splitting the waffle churro which was amazing. There was a unique sugar cookie dessert with key lime mascarpone on the menu that sounded amazing too. Liked seeing an alternative second option alongside a churro option.Nice relaxed vibe and intimate atmosphere and attentive and friendly service, (Emma served our table). Will definitely be back to try the patio in summer! (The nachos were probably best ever sampled so hopefully they’ll still be a menu offering then…)Last thing I’ll say is the choice to eat out comes at a premium these days with everything being so expensive but we found the value and food was very reasonably priced. Recommend big time!

Update !Nothing is better on Valentines Day than dinner at the Burro. I don’t know how they do it but with every meal and visit they get better and better. The food is skillfully prepared with the most incredible ingredients and flavours. From Margaritas to Flatbreads to Tacos and Unique Desserts you will experience the most incredible meal. The Burro is my wife’s and my favourite place! Let’s not forget the most incredible servers who make the meals so very special. If you are looking for a great night out look no further than the Burro, you will not be disappointed!What an incredible meal. Everything is prepared with such care and the freshest ingredients . So many choices and all of them are excellent from the drink menu to the desserts and everything in between . My wife and I loved our meal. The service was exceptional too. I can’t remember when I’ve enjoyed a meal more. We will be customers for life.

$6 bucks for a two bite taco and the taste wasn't mind blowing. It took them 45 minutes to dish out 6 tacos and 10 minutes to prepare the churro. We are not going back.

I only know one Mexican restaurant around the Oakville/burlington area so as a Mexican when I found out about Burro I was very excited. The food is very Americanized but I Iike how they put their own twist to it. The reason for 4 stars is due to how expensive it is. I was not expecting one taco to be 6$ and they are quite small… same with the cocktails being 14$ and being way too small as well. Overall great atmosphere plus the waitresses were very kind. Just not a fan of the prices.
