Downtown Bistro & Grill | Casual Fine Dining

We had a fantastic experience at Downtown Bistro & Grill, with great service from all of the staff. We were impressed with their selection of Canadian wines (local Niagara region and from BC), and loved the atmosphere.

They totally rescued our evening after a disastrous experience at a different restaurant a few doors over (Buvette - don’t go there!).

Also, thanks to our server for recommending BLK Swan (downtown) as a nearby option for drinks and live music after - we had a great night and partied there until closing!

I was in last week for my birthday lunch with a friend. It was fantastic!! Food was excellent and our server Haylee was amazing! So friendly, professional & helped make the occasion special ! Don’t get me started about the delicious dessert! lol. Thank you for a wonderful birthday lunch! Will be back!!

The service was incredible, treating everyone with the most professional yet friendliest touch. It's an adorable but very small space that creates an atmosphere of cozy intimacy, making it perfect for a date night. Plus, the food is reasonably priced for its quality. I'd especially suggest the Bistro Burger. It was one, if not the best, burger I've ever had!

Excellent food, great service - first time there today on the patio. The waitress was super friendly and efficient. All dishes were well prepared with fresh ingredients.

Great food and service. Found it odd that they asked if it was a special occasion - yes my birthday - but we didn't get anything for it

Delicious meal, great service. Small venue so when it is busy (both times I have been there) it can get a little noisy.

What a great spot! Met a friend for dinner sat outside but got chilly and opted to come inside. The woman serving us was happy to accommodate our request. She was very friendly and was quick to join in our banter. I wish I got her name but she was great! The food came out quickly and from what I had was very tasty. Thanks for a great night!

Our server was great and am disappointed I can't highlight her here. The interior is very cozy. Service was impeccable. The food was delicious! Thank you.

One of the few Restaurants where I like everything on the menu ! Never disappoints, great place ! Personally I think it is the best place in Burlington, and it doesn't break the bank either !

Overall I was impressed with the meal it was excellent. What I did not like is that the offered a side with your mean and included Fries, sweet potato fries, salad or Caesar salad. We were not informed that the sweet potato fries were an additional $6! Not impressed and for that reason alone will not go back.

Beautiful cozy bistro with a lovely ambience...the girls working there were so sweet...we would definitely come back here next time we visit Burlington
