I don’t know who are these people giving out ratings on Hakka food around here. Veg momos were full of garam masala, don’t know why? The idea of veg momos is that you should be able to taste the veggies, not just masala.
The chicken Hakka noodles were underwhelming at best, no salt, no vinegar, no flavour, weirdest Hakka food ever.
Hakka Rise & MoMo House is a solid spot if you're craving bold, spicy flavors. Be ready for a fiery kick with most dishes! I’ve been here a few times for lunch and have also done several takeouts.
They offer a good variety of momos, though I do wish they had a malai-dunked option. That said, their soups are spot-on when it comes to Indo-Chinese flavors—perfect for chilly days when you want something warm and comforting.
Overall, a great place for spice lovers looking for a flavorful, no-fuss meal!
Vegetarian options: Ample and nice range to pick from.

Noodles and soup are good, but the dishes are really bland. Garlic chicken, chilli chicken, all bland, unfortunately. It's always super cold in the restaurant, heat is pretty much turned off.

Burlington Hakka & Momo Hub is a culinary destination that brings together the rich flavors of Hakka, Thai, Indian, and Nepali cuisines. This establishment has garnered attention for its diverse menu and commitment to authentic taste experiences.
The restaurant's menu is a testament to its dedication to variety and authenticity. Patrons can indulge in a range of dishes, from traditional Hakka noodles to flavorful momos—a type of Nepali dumpling. The inclusion of Thai and Indian dishes further enriches the dining experience, catering to a wide array of palates. Two notable dishes the lolipop chicken and spicy garlic chicken, which has received positive feedback for its robust flavors.
Rhe restaurant is amazing for its outstanding dishes, generous portions, and reasonable price, and the staff are both helpful and knowledgeable. The excellence of the momos as the freshest and most flavorful we had ever tasted.
The establishment offers various service options, including dine-in, takeout, and delivery. The ambiance is calm and cozy, providing a comfortable setting for diners.

I recently visited the restaurant and had a mixed experience. The chicken crispy sesame was absolutely delicious, and both the Manchurian and chili chicken were tasty as well. However, other food items were just average, nothing too exciting.
The service left much to be desired. There was only one girl taking orders, and just two girls serving the customers. Because of this, we had to wait an hour to get a table, followed by another 30 minutes before we could even place our order. After that, it took an additional 20 minutes for the food to arrive at our table.
Given the long wait times, the food didn’t quite justify the delay, and overall, the experience was disappointing.

Went to this place on valentines day evening! Kept standing in the queue and nobody came to tell us that they will be closing for dine in sometime! Reached around 9 and then kept standing 20-30
mins and then they came and told at exact 9:30 that we need to leave as they cant take anymore people as they are short staffed! Mind you they close at 11.
If they decide to close they could have told us as soon as we reached and not made us wait and waste our time! Just imagine you are hungry and waiting for food at 9 and then you stand for 30 minutes just to be told we need to leave!
Disappointed with the service! Also they did not come themselves and tell us , we went and asked that we are two people and there were tables empty if they can give us a table - then they said no we will not give anymore tables!
Terrible experience!

Updated - ordered take out 2 times now, very specifically told noodle is for kids - no spices or msg. They messed up order both times and food being spicy, next they expect us to come and pick fixed order.... BAD Customer Service. Very unfortunate a good restaurant turning garbage box!!!
Delicious food, we had momos, noodles, paneer chilli - everything was very good.

I recently visited Hakka rice n Momo House, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. From the moment we entered, there was no welcome, and none of the staff displayed even the slightest warmth or a smile.
When our order was served, we realized that the veg momos were not steamed as we had expected. Upon requesting a change, the staff member simply stated that we had not specified it. I explained that we had assumed they would be served dry, not with gravy, and that if our preference wasn’t clear, they could have confirmed it while taking the order. Instead of showing any courtesy or offering to check, the staff member dismissively responded, “It’s on you now,” which came across as quite rude.
Apart from this disappointing interaction, the baby corn was a highlight and is worth recommending. The Manchurian and Hakka dishes were decent but nothing exceptional.
Overall, the lack of hospitality and customer service overshadowed the food experience. A little warmth and attentiveness from the staff could have made a significant difference.

We are usual for this restaurant. We usually eat Delhi creamy momos. But never in my entire life I had this experience!! We got metal piece in our momos! Never in my life I had this! I was disgusted by this. I really have to report this incident to Canada food agencies. This is extremely dangerous. I can not imagine what if kid just swallowed it !!

Terrible Service (phone call & Rude Staff)
I had the worst experience ordering from this restaurant over the phone, (3 Times if 1 time then we can understand they are busy) , The person who took order was extremely rude, impatient, and dismissive. They barely let me speak, rushed through the call, and even sighed loudly when I asked a simple question about the menu.
When I arrived every time to pick up my order, they didn’t greet me, and my food wasn’t even ready despite the long wait time they gave me. No apology, just attitude. If this is how they treat paying customers, I won’t be coming back. PLEASE Avoid this place if you expect basic courtesy and decent service.
Would give ZERO stars if I could!

I ordered Delhi momos and found a piece of glass inside them. It seems the food was prepared without adhering to proper safety precautions.

Food was good! Quantity of dishes were also good. Service was absolutely TERRIBLE. There are only 2 people on the floor and they seem like they don’t know how to run the show. We waited forever to get our order taken and had to constantly get the servers attention. We were not given any attention as PAYING customers. Truly felt IGNORED the whole time!!! Customers who came after us even left before us despite us only being a table of 2!
