Lena's Roti & Doubles in Burlington offers amazing jerk chicken salad bowls and delicious Caribbean home-cooked food. The mild is quite spicy, so be prepared! The atmosphere is calm, clean, and cheery, with warm and inviting staff. The doubles, rice, dhal, and curry goat are highly recommended, with just the right amount of heat in the pepper sauce. Regular doubles and jerk chicken with peas and rice are popular choices. The doubles were absolutely delicious—definitely worthy of a solid 5-star rating. The roti and chicken were just as amazing, with the roti being exceptionally soft and flavorful. The young lady who took our order was absolutely amazingly friendly. The restaurant is the cleanest I’ve seen in a very long time and the food…the food…need I say the food is sooooooo tasty and well worth the price!!! Absolutely delicious and friendly staff. Tried the Jerk Chicken roti and Double for the first time today. Perfect level of spice and great flavour. A must-visit spot for tasty Caribbean halal food in downtown Burlington!
