It's hard to find a restaurant in Burlington that serves a decent breakfast for a reasonable price. This is the one. I was a regular customer some years ago and it's nice to see the restaurant hasn't changed. The atmosphere, service, and food are all exceptional! I have no hesitation in recommending Mount Royal Family Restaurant to visit at anytime for either breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Prefer that small family-run restaurant rather than a chain. Look no further this is your place. Exceptional food combined with a pleasant atmosphere and service makes this your go-to stop.
Mount Royal had been one of my favourite breakfast place for many years when there would be a lineup to get in after 9:30. It was the best coffee of all the breakfast places I went to. After COVID I started to notice a slight change, potatoes done different but still a very good breakfast. After a bit there was a modest price increase of $1.00-$1.50 which was standard at most restaurants, I went there a few weeks ago and was surprised when I got the bill and coffee was not included...
