I've been many times to West Plains Bistro and it never disappoints. The service and atmosphere is wonderful. The staff went out of their way to accommodate a lactose free option for my guest! It is a wonderful spot!
We were a foursome for lunch. Service was pleasant and timely. I had the Turkey club. The bread was not toasted and became it was soggy. The Turkey was tasty but looked ( to me like Turkey roll). I was a bit disappointed with my sandwich although the grits were yummy. My husband had a mushroom crepe. Although his salad was lovely with long slices of cucumber, he said his crepe was ‘too wet' We have eaten at West Plains on several previous occasions and this was the least...
This is one of the best restaurants in Burlington. Food was perfectly done (artic char and red snapper), properly cooked with peas, wild rice. Dessert was a lemon cheese cake and coconut cream pie. Could have been a little less whipped cream on the top of the pie slice. Their wine selection is superb. Will definitely return.
