Dog Friendly Restaurants Calabogie

“This is NOT the cafe I expected to find in this location, I was wonderfully surprised. The food and coffee were both legitimate experiences in themselves, in addition to the lovely decor and community space. I would consider this a must-see in Calabogie, I’m legitimately grateful for my beautiful latte art, and the addition of the caper berry to the top of the lox bagel was a masterful touch.“

“We made reservations prior to going, just to make sure we'd have a spot. We arrived and the place wasn't all that busy (Sunday night) we were really confused about entry. The arrow on the front door points to a door on the left, that door was locked, so we weren't even sure they were open till we returned to the front door. You walk through and they have the brewing vats on the left which was interesting to see. Going in further the restaurant is to the back. We took a place out on the patio and it has an amazing view overlooking a river, we saw a family of ducks and two great blue Herons while dining. My partner ordered a fleet and the shining stars were the K & P 1883 Amber Session Ale, and the BROWN COW Nitro Milk Stout. (Which we purchased cans of after our meal). My partner ordered a honey mustard chicken sandwich which blossomed with great flavour with the arugula. I orders a BBQ beef Philly, it was soggy and lacked any real flavour. Both had a side of nacho chips and salsa, for $18-$20 sandwiches having bacho chips and salsa wasn't doing it. We did enjoy the roasted red pepper dip with nacho chips but it was just way to much chips overall. The staff were friendly which helped turn the review from a three star for food to a four star for good staff.“
