“First time at the brewery yesterday! The team is so kind and we didn’t even realize how long we were there because we were having such a great time. We played some games and got cans to go, as well. We got a few different pints as well as a flight for drinks. For food, we got a pretzel stick, beef patties, the Polish on a Bun, and the Donair. Everything tasted great and I’ll be thinking about that donair for a while. Can’t wait to come back!“

“I came to Melville Cafe because of the trending downturn of service at Coffee Cultures Cafe down the street. I walk downtown almost daily and like to get something to eat. The service, menu, food and atmosphere blows Coffee Cultures Cafe away! I was very impressed. I ordered a sandwich and drink and had no problem waiting at the counter while it was made. The woman asked me to have a seat and she would delivery the food to my table. I told her I wanted to sit outside. She said, no problem at all, I'll come find you. The person who cashed me out and the woman who made my sandwich and delivered it were pleasant, friendly, polite and smiled. I know where I'll be going from now on. Thank you for the amazing service. I should have been coming here all along! Plus, they have an amazing view of the river. There is no comparison.“

“My husband and I have bottled wine for several years and we've recently needed to search out a new place. After reading numerous websites and reviews we decided to drop in at The Towne Winer.

We chatted with Barrie about our wine preferences and previous wine experience. Barrie explained their wine making process and you could clearly hear the knowledge and enjoyment of his craft in his explanation.

We decided to go with both a white and a red wine. Barrie and Liz did not disappoint. We have found our new wine happy place!“

“I've always been a fan of Wellington beer, so l was stoked to finally visit the brewery. Cool store when you first walk in. I left with a nice glass and some beer and the merch is really cool along with the discs they sell for disc golf!
We went for lunch so there weren't many food options other than snacks, so we got some Grilled Brie Cheese Sandwiches which were fine, I mean, Brie is always amazing, but it was just missing something whether it was honey and nuts, cranberry sauce, ketchup etc. The beer was great as expected. We all got flights and enjoyed all of our drinks. Favourites included the Crispy Forever,, S.P.A., and Helles Lager. Fair prices here and a nice atmosphere.
Our server was soooo nice too, she heard that I was skeptical on trying the County Brown Ale so she so kindly brought me a little sample to try during our tasting! I'm not big on porters/ stouts and can be picky with dark brown ales, but I very much enjoyed this one, so thank you for the taster! Will be back in the summer hopefully :)“

“Very relaxing vibe. The staff is always super nice, always positive and smiling. We have tried many drinks and to list the ones we like would be too long of a post so I'll keep it vague. Traditional milk tea is a great start with tapioca pearls. If you like fruity drinks the slushies or fruit teas are amazing. For a pick me up, order from the Nespresso drinks (tried and loved it). I personally like the Thai Milk Tea with nothing in it to enjoy the full flavour of the drink but the Honeydew is also a weakness of mine. Overall will return many many more times. Great for a date night out or a dessert after eating dinner.“
