I had positive well timed service from Emily, , after I noticed the items on the beverage menu, she helped me purchase the items that will work well as gifts, glad I read the menu! , I had a very tasty Burger dinner, . “I came to get the weekday 11-5 specials (meal plus drink). Came in and sat down at a table at around 4:00. Waited 10 minutes, nothing. No menu (in the past when I have come it was almost instant if not within a minute so I found it odd). A group of guys who had sat down after me was being served drinks, but I had yet to even see a server pass by my table (section I was in had other tables who were about halfway through a meal so it was not closed). Waited another five minutes then moved to the section with the guys who had drinks (bar seats). Another five minutes and the server for that section came by and asked if I’d been served. Explained the situation (I’d been waiting at one of the tables with no sign of anyone so moved to where I had seen people get served figuring it might increase my chances of getting seen). She was very apologetic (even though it wasn’t her fault) and the food was good as always (got the gryphon grand slam), but still feel conflicted about the situation. It wasn’t a notably busy time compared to other times when I’ve been and service has always been on point. Every other time I’ve come I’ve never had any issues with service (hence why the review is four stars rather than three) but I guess if you’re coming just be aware that wait times can really extend based on what server is in charge of your section. Would still come again though.“
