love this place!! me and my friends come here to study, catch up or eat nearly everyday in university. Only downside is sometimes the wait times are pretty insane. we once waited 30 minutes just to get a menu, and another hour before anyone took our order. but besides that it’s normally great service and food.
I frequently come here to switch up study environments, in between classes, and for meals. I overall love it.
This time I came here after a big final to relax a bit. Great experience overall, very good cozy environment, kind/nice service, and fair prices.
Had the super agie burger with cross trax fries, gravy on the side. Service was great, food was great, meat to bun ratio was perfect. Sammi brought us there, we will certainly be back and highly recommend people visit you.
Brass Taps Pub at the University of Guelph offers a great selection of drinks and delicious food, like the chicken mushroom melt burger and pineapple mocktail. The ambiance is perfect for socializing or studying, with famous trivia nights that are always fully booked in advance. On busier nights, the service can be very slow, with a lack of water glasses and menus for parties. While some serving staff and management seem unprofessional and gossipy, other servers are welcoming and efficient. The pub has a good vibe and food selection.
