“It is great to see Little Mushroom have an eat-in option, it is a little location in an industrial park. The food there is very good.

The afternoon tea selection is heavy on desserts, had some unexpected items for tea (which could be a plus or minus, depending on whether you like them), and were missing some favourites like cucumber sandwiches. The clotted cream was good, with excellent scones. The tea selection was comprehensive. Worth checking out.“

“Ernie’s Cookhouse in Hespeler Village absolutely knocked it out of the park! I ordered the Pulled Pork Macaroni, and as someone who’s had their fair share of Southern BBQ, including my all-time fave at Moe’s in Mobile, Alabama, I can honestly say Ernie’s version is even better. It’s smoky, cheesy, and everything comfort food should be. My partner had the Montreal Smoked Sandwich special and was blown away by the generous portion size. We both left with full bellies and full takeout containers, which is always a win. We couldn’t resist taking home an entire Coconut Cream Pie. It’s hands-down the best Coconut Cream Pie I’ve ever had in Southern Ontario (possibly the world, but let’s not start a pie war). Joel Cook, the owner, deserves his own 5 stars. He’s not only serving up amazing meals but is also a huge supporter of local teams and charities. He’s helped bring the heart and soul back into Hespeler Village. Highly recommend! Come hungry, leave with pie and maybe a new appreciation for how great local food can be.“
