My wife and I got engaged at the Black Tartan in 2023 and then came back for our wedding rehearsal dinner in 2025. Both times we've had some of the best food we've ever eaten there. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere allows for easy, excellent conversation with friends and family. I would strongly recommend everyone try it at least once, you'll go back on your own after that.

I really struggled with this review. This was our second time coming to this restaurant. First experience was absolutely mind blowing in September 2023. Second time a week ago was a little different. We didn’t like some of the courses which is a little sad considering the price. Besides the two items we didn’t like, everything else was exceptional, from the service, to the team, to my cocktail.
