Take-out Chinese food from the House of Fong in Carleton Place never disappoints, in quality, portions and overall ordering process online. Our favorites include lemon chicken, stir fry vegetable, garlic spareribs, and of course, egg rolls. Thank you to the hardworking HoF team!
Unusually, we were disappointed with our food tonight. Having eaten in the restaurant once and taken food out twice, we had expected the same quality. The spring rolls were indeed excellent, and the broccoli in the beef & broccoli was lovely and crisp. However, all of the other dishes fell short on flavour. They all tasted rather bland, which was disappointing and not usual for House of Fong.
We ordered House of Fong, through the ValleyEats app on a Sunday evening. We ordered the dinner for 4, lemon chicken and imperial chicken. The food arrived promptly and was very tasty. I will be ordering again in the future.
