This place is easily 5 stars. Ordered chicken shawarma, and really tasted good. The garlic sauce and hummus tasted legendary. If only they could put more chicken into the shawarma. Nevertheless taste was great. And also the place is certified Halal❤️.

Lakeside Shawarma is the best shawarma in Carleton place. I highly recommend you treat your family and friends. Folks this place is the real deal. Lakeside creates Outstanding Shawarma, friendly and happy staff provide smiles and excellent customer service Always fresh and consistent quality this charming local spot hits the mark every time. Plus they offer meal deals, platters, and an entire take out family meal (it’s a lot of food) and prices are very reasonable.Vegetarian options: Cabbage and turnip provide excellent nutrition from root vegetables. Lots of veggies and grains.Dietary restrictions: Beware huge portions
Had high expectations ordering from great reviews but was extremely disappointed.Got the family platter for a special date night. Chicken was so dry and tough. Pitas also seemed stale. Lots of rice as a filler. Potatoes were ok. Best part was the garlic sauce.Maybe eating in / a gyro would be good .. but would never order the family platter again. Disappointed for $64!!Staff was very friendly though and always very trying to support local … so I wanted to love it but was thoroughly disappointed ?

Love the food.Prices seem to have gone up quite significantly thoughChicken swarma platter that was $13, then $15? Is now $19 and change. Thats over 27% increase.Similar on other items.
I havent been here in years and stopped in the other day and was very pleased. The food was delicious, prepared smartly and served quickly. I sat down and enjoyed my meal. This is among the best shawarma locations in the county and a great place to stop!

I love shawarmas!I drove 40 kms to come try this place because of the Google reviews raving about it.I got a chicken shawarma platter; the service was good, quick in and out. I was very excited to try it out, especially as it's my one cheat meal for the week.When I reached home and opened the box, there was barely any chicken—perhaps 3-4 slivers of chicken. I was so disappointed. I really, really wanted to love this place. Hoping it was a genuine one off mistake.
