The butter chicken is basically just chicken in Heinz tomato soup thickened with almond flour. There's no hint of spice here, and it's way too sweet. The naan and Biryani were fine. If you're looking for something more authentic don't go here, but I think this place would appeal to spice intolerant people who want to feel like they're eating Indian food.

Service was terrible! We waited forever to get our meal. During that same time, takeout orders were flying out the door. Very frustrating to know that the kitchen was in full operation, but their priority was on their takeout customers and not on their dine-in clientele.

Had takeout of palak paneer and paneer tikka masala and it was amazing! Their Onion Bhaji is delicious as well. So happy we have this restaurant.

Took my parents here when they came in from out of town. The food was incredible: flavourful, moist and perfectly cooked. the lady who was serving us was so attentive, friendly and genuinely interested in us. She was a highlight. Will definitely eat here again.

We dropped by on our way back from Ottawa and were looking for an Indian restaurant with vegetarian options to have lunch. We had mattar paneer combo that came with rice, dal makhni, and sweet along with naan. The jeera rice and roti was also great. Prompt and courteous service. Highly recommended!

The service here was spectacular, one of the most attentive and efficient we've ever seen. The food was pretty good too. We ordered a few of the combos, Baingan Bhartha, Aloo Gobi, Chana Masala, and Matar Paneer. The latter two were absolutely wonderful, the former average. The Gulab Jamun was excellent. The Mulligatawny soup however was a downer, it was inauthentic and bland.

Sagar has some really solid food, especially for a good takeout meal. They were overrun on Valentines day (maybe on other holidays too?) but otherwise has been top notch

One of the best indian food and experience in ontario. There was only one staff. However she was very pleasant and getting the orders on time without any issues eventhough restaurant was almost full. Definitely a great pitsop from toronto to ottawa route. Food was really good and everything was top notch
