Fryway 17 is a roadside gem serving generous portions of delicious food. The ice cream from a local dairy called "Brums" is a must-try. The poutine is amazing, with a perfect gravy to cheese curd ratio. The cozy patio with ample seating and clean bathrooms make it a pleasant stop. The fries are fresh, golden fried, and served very hot, offering a much better experience than other places. It is recommended to bring cash, as they are cash only, but an ATM is available on site. The restaurant has a long menu and even offers beer, making it a popular choice in the area. Parking is plentiful, including veteran parking. While the service and ordering process are great, some wish they stayed open a little later in the evening, as closing at 6 pm feels early. Overall, Fryway 17 is considered a wonderful roadside chip stand on steroids, loved for its food, portions, and friendly atmosphere.
