“We visited Desi Bar & Grill yesterday on 14 Dec 2024. The experience was worth mentioning as the Desi Bar & Grill's Interior was quite impressive, with the relaxed feeling of an entertaining restaurant with the food, bar service, and server courtesy. It deserves a stars (*****) rating except for one suggestion. It is nice to hear the ever-green Indian Songs except for the loudness associated with the noise this created necessitating keeping it low will be dignified and relaxing for distinguished visitors to engage in audible mutual conversation rather than put restraint and blockage by loud music. Running of soft Indian 'Gazals' will add to the environment apart from Punjabi/Hindi songs.”

“We held our 50th wedding anniversary luncheon at Pickering Pickle Barrel on August 31st, 2025. I can not say enough good things about our experience. Management was excellent, the food superb, and our Servers Gillian, Dorothy and Candace were WONDERFUL. They handled the forty of us with patience, courtesy and efficiency! “First time at this place which I found seaching for a café. Dessert Lounge has a pleasant atmosphere ,it is very clean and our server Prince was great!. We had a scruffle and mango berry cheesecake, which were delicious. They are open until midnight and they serve a variety of teas, coffees, desserts and food. I highly recommend it.

I ordered a matcha, and while they didn’t have their regular blend, I opted for the higher-grade version (+$1) with lactose-free milk (+$0.90). It ended up costing $10.84 in total, which is a bit on the pricier side, but the drink itself was smooth, refreshing, and really well made. Overall, a great experience but just be prepared to pay a little extra for upgrades.”

“Read all the amazing reviews and decided to check it out. I was not overly impressed since the burgers were dried out and the fries were soft and not very hot. I was present to pick up my order as soon as it was ready. Lovely establishment and very friendly staff however I was not impressed with the food which is a premium price. I may try them again to see if I had caught them at a bad time.”
