Atmosphere could have been better if we had been sat outside or a better inside table. Place could use a little Reno. They wre very busy and reservation was made day of, a couple of hours prior. Glad we were able to get the reservation as I had been wanting to try this restaurant. The food did not disappoint! Fabulous. Four dining bill was $350. with tip, did include a $70.00 bottle of wine. Well worth it!!
Poppy’s French Bistro was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The interior was beautiful and the service was excellent. The food was just perfect. I ordered the onion soup and crème brûlée. The onion soup was a bit sweet and very rich in flavour. The crème brûlée was creamy, with fresh fruit on top and delicious. Overall, this restaurant was just amazing.
Great building! The food was very good. I had the oysters and a salad niçoise. We sat in a private room, away from the main dining area. I appreciated the separation for our event, although the acoustics were terrible, and it was very difficult to hear conversations due to the echoing voices.
