KFC in Concord

“Haven’t eaten kfc since their “original recipe” campaign and I hate it, but ever since they changed their recipe to halal chicken it’s tasted really good and I’ve went back there atleast 6 times in the past 2 weeks. My favourite menu item is the fries, better than McDonalds or Wendy’s fries when they come our fresh. For some reason menu items like the zinger come less fresh than the crunch burger but they’re both still pretty good. The owner was kind enough to give my party of 8 some free fries so that was greatly appreciated. The large fries are 8 bucks but you get A BUCKET of fries so I’d say it’s worth it. Their pricing is so cheap for this economy. 2 sliders, 1 fountain drink (free refills), and fries only costs 9 dollars including tax. If you get burger combos instead of slider combos it’ll cost you ~10-12 bucks which is the same prices as Popeyes. I tried their popcorn chicken which I’m a sucker for and they were pretty crispy. They also have self order kiosk machines. The restaurant feels a bit cramped and doesn’t give the usual kfc atmosphere like the other kfc’s but it’s cleaner than other fast food chains (like so much more so it get’s 3.5 stars for atmosphere. The washrooms are also considerably clean so that’s nice. Note to anyone that can only eat halal: the half kfc, half taco bells are not halal from what I am told but the stand alone kfc’s are. Great place overall.“

“We dine in with sandwich and had a takeout bucket. What a major improvement on the food. Chicken was white, fresh and firm with well mixed pieces.The gravy had good colour and tasted so much better. The person taking the orders was very professional and polite. I must say I am impressed with KFC improvement towards consumers . I was happy to spend 128.00 in food. Keep up the good work“
