“Excellent food options at this Mexican restaurant. The corn ribs and quesabirria were outstanding.
A bit disappointed to be seated at the very back of the restaurant at a makeshift table despite having a reservation. We were told other tables upfront were also reserved, but we didnt see anyone sit there during our entire stay.

“My father loves this place and when it comes to spending quality time together, we always come here.
We always have the menestra, like today, and it's such a lovely meal. The dish is available in a small ($17) or big size, and the small is very filling. Sometimes it's a bit of a wait (especially on weekends) but it is delicious. Steak, salad, beans, plaintain and rice, and if you are around for lunch they have a special that includes a soup + drink ($25-for menestra+soup+drink).
The food is always prepared on order, so it is as fresh as it comes. As for the atmosphere of the plaza, this is the kind of place you come to for traditional, laid-back, and food prepared just like they way they do it home. Where the tables are, they are usually projecting/playing sports on the tvs.
In terms of service, once you order, they give you a number and you take it with you to sit a table and wait until the food is ready. It's not fancy - but that's the charm, it's homestyle; warm, filling and operated by a close knit Ecuadorian family.

“Good would have been five stars, however, many items and specials on the menu were not available to order. The taste, presentation, and price for meals is excellent. The atmosphere is dragged down by the heavy smoke from people around the restaurant's location (adjacent to a smoke shop).“

“I love this place so much I have been so many times with my family and it never disappoints. Most recently I got the menestra and it tasted AMAZING!!! Other times I have gotten empanadas and the encebollado and both are soooo yummy. Amazing staff amazing service amazing food amazing everything I 100% recommend this restaurant 🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️“

“My husband is from Honduras and hadn’t eaten Honduran food in two years. We drove from Kitchener to enjoy the food at this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Delicious food, great service, and a wonderful community of people.“

“Absolutely loved and a must try! Amazing food, friendly service, and very good prices. Had empanadas and an arepa— so fresh! The best part was they were not stingy on the sauces which for me is so important. The sauces were amazing and completed the meals. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, especially with so much variety and options on the menu.“

“Amazing pupusas!! Of course the wait time is gonna be a little longer, they're made fresh, duh. LOL! If there's a few orders before yours it is gonna be a bit longer, but I've never waited more than 10 minutes! I literally come to the market just for these pupusas!!“

“I went to the restaurant and the store. I really liked everything. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the price didn't seem too high. They gave me bread, pebre, and butter as a bonus. I've been to more expensive places for less food. The store also worked out well. I ordered a chocapic, and the man immediately told me he wasn't selling it because it was expired. He also bought cuchufi, and they were delicious, with lots of dulce de leche.“
