Extremely disappointing.

I ordered two pizza subs this Tuesday evening through UberEats. One sub was Mediterranean Greek which was ordered fired up & grilled, and the other on multigrain bread, just grilled.

I received two cold sandwiches. The Mediterranean sandwich was not toasted, and the multigrain sandwich hardly looks like it touched a grill. As shown in the photos, they put little to no sauce and the toppings were arranged sloppy (and like the sauce, also extremely lacking). Additionally, one of the toppings had an unpleasant taste to it (almost a metal or chemical-like taste). I think the cheese they serve may have went bad or something.

I’ve ordered from Mr. Sub multiple times in the past from different locations and they have made my sandwiches correctly - for one, when I order “fired up” I usually get a toasted sandwich, so it seems to just be this location that seems to have a clear discrepancy in food quality and assembly. Will not order from this location again.

I ordered an assorted sub on Uber Eats and I was so disappointed. They barely put any veggies at all. You can literally count the pieces of lettuce.

I used washroom as a customer. It took 5 minutes which is normal. Manager talked really bad place was crowded. I feel terrible because of him.

First time coming into this location on a Sunday. Not sure if they are lacking employees, but no greeting when a customer walks in. So im just standing here waiting while the only worker is working on a bigger order. Only here to redeem a birthday vouchers, but i see why this location has a low rating

I’ve been coming to this Mr. Sub location because my family likes Mr sub for over 20 years and I genuinely want to support Canadian-owned businesses over larger chains. That said, after my most recent visit, that changed.

I placed a buy-one-get-one seafood sub order through Uber Eats and gave over 20 minutes before arriving for pickup. When I got there, the subs still weren’t ready — which I was understanding about though I did note it to them. But when I asked if they could add a bit more seafood, I was met with a curt, “It’s one scoop,” as though that was non-negotiable. I then politely asked if they could at least spread the seafood more evenly, since one side of the sub had barely any filling. While they did it, the tone and body language made it clear my request wasn’t welcome.

I mentioned that another Mr. Sub I’ve visited made the sub better — simply because they were a little more generous with the seafood. That location didn’t give attitude and didn’t make a big deal over a small bit of seafood. Instead of taking that as helpful feedback, the staff member told me, “Well, go to them next time.” I explained that location is too far, and was told, “Well, you got a buy-one-get-one” as if that justified cutting corners on quality and offering poor customer service.

All of this happened in front of other patrons, and it left me feeling uncomfortable and dismissed. Only reason I didn't give the old lady attitude back is because people like that are not worth my energy and I know Google reviews hurt more.

What i found interesting is the, after checking the reviews, it’s clear I’m not alone. Many others have shared similar concerns — from minimal portions to poor service and an attitude. There’s clearly a pattern that needs addressing.

And a note to the person responding to Google reviews: instead of repeatedly asking people to message you on Facebook, maybe start speaking directly with your staff about how they’re treating customers. When someone gives feedback like I did, especially when comparing to another location, the right response isn’t sarcasm or defensiveness. A better approach would be, “What did they do differently?” and a willingness to improve the experience here.

I’ll still return for my parents — As for me, I’ll be supporting locations that understand that every customer, promotion or not, deserves basic courtesy and quality service.
