Wow! A hidden gem I must say. Food and service were unmatched.

First we were greeted with bruschetta and a cheese/bread/olive platter. For apps we had the burrata and caesar salad — it was served directly on our plate… chefs kiss. Then for mains we had the surf & turf and paccheri gamberi — all I can say is WOW. Finally, for dessert we had crème brûlée and bread pudding.. a cherry on top to the meal.

Overall, we had an amazing dinner — great experience, definitely will be back!

11 out of 10 experience. Food was excellent and the service was top notch. Their Blood Orange Gin was spectacular. The staff treat their customers like family. Smoke & Mirrors will be a a regular stop for me when I'm in town!

Absolutely amazing food and perfect service. I've got grilled octopus and lamb chops - not gonna lie that was the best octopus I've ever ate and surely the best lamb in Toronto. I totally love the place and definitely will come back.

I chose this restaurant for dinner based on all the five star reviews - and if I could give it more stars I would! An absolute hidden gem in an unsuspecting strip plaza that doesn’t skip out on the details. The food was absolutely excellent, as was the service from Danielle and Asia. We were blown away by the quality, presentation and hospitality.

We had an incredible dinner at Smoke & Mirrors in Vaughan. From start to finish, everything was phenomenal. The food and service were both outstanding.

We were a little skeptical going in because of all the five-star reviews. Sometimes places don’t live up to the hype. We’ve been burned before by another restaurant with glowing reviews that ended up being a huge disappointment. But Smoke & Mirrors earned every single one of those five stars. If I could give more, I would.

They nailed every single element of the experience, from the service to the food and even the cocktails. I ordered a gin cocktail that came topped with these really cool smoky bubbles that added a fun and memorable touch. It wasn’t just for show either. The drink was also delicious.

They start you off with a thoughtful plate of fresh bread, cheese, olives, and a piece of bruschetta, which set the tone for the rest of the meal. I had the tuna tartare to start, which was beautifully plated and full of flavour. My main was the risotto special, rich, perfectly cooked, and full of depth. For dessert, I had the bread pudding served with homemade ice cream, and it was the perfect end to the night.

My husband had the porchetta special with endive salad and said it was one of the best meals he’s had in a long time. The portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming, and everything was clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients.

Can’t wait to go back. A true gem in Vaughan.

God where do I begin? Everything across the board is just beyond what I've become accustomed to. Service was top notch I've never felt so pampered at a restaurant. Food and drinks were overall fantastic! The cocktails were very well crafted and balanced. The balance and full flavours of every ingredient in every dish were perfect, hats off to you Chef! Lastly the atmosphere was very classy and soothing. To the warm greetings of the regulars and the staff smiling and actually seeming happy to be here. I can tell the owner must be a wonderful person who cares for his staff cause it can be felt through the service and through the passion of the chefs cooking. MUST VISIT THIS HIDDEN GEM!!!

Went here for dinner with the family. The quaint restaurant gives a very authentic Italian aesthetic. The service was very friendly with yummy bread, cheese, olives, and bruschettas for appetizers. We ordered the grilled octopus, caesar salad, fig gorgonzola prosciutto pizza, and fusili rose pasta. All were excellent, just full of flavour. I also ordered the chefs favourite which was a bourbon aperol. Pretty cool smoke show goes with it.
