Blue Anchor Reviews
The manager kick us for no reason because we ask for another table. There was a waiting list so we waited longer (45 min) for this table and after we got it it kick off us for no reasons. Also the manager scream at the young ladies a at the front for no reason. We eat there maybe 25 times in summer and it was the last time for us!!
Don’t go there!!
The view at the restaurant was beautiful and really enhanced the experience. I did enjoy the fish in my fish and chips, though I feel the dish would have been even better with hand-cut fries instead of frozen ones. The menu leaned heavily toward wraps, and I would have loved to see a wider selection of seafood options, especially since I traveled quite a distance to visit. Blue Anchor is a restaurant with great food and a beautiful view of the water. In the summer, dining on the large deck is perfect, especially with boats parked on the dock and music creating a festive atmosphere. The staff is friendly and efficient, providing great service once seated. The menu is extensive, offering delicious meals like key lime pie, shrimp tacos, and the famous Pearch roll with top-shelf sauce and amazing fish. The fish and chips are highly recommended, and the Mexican salad with grilled chicken is also a popular choice. Prices are reasonable, with a meal, drink, and coffee costing around $30, and a typical bill for two people about $60. The location has nice wheelchair accessibility and plenty of parking, including overflow parking across the street, making it a favorite for bikers and visitors seeking a pleasant dining experience. While the patio can be crowded and moving tables may seem tricky, the overall experience is enjoyable, especially with friendly service and excellent water views. The restaurant can accommodate large groups, serving all at once, which is appreciated by many guests. The noise level can be loud during parties inside, but this does not detract from the overall great atmosphere.
