I just had a delicious meal, one of the best I’ve had in a long while, at Casa Paolo restaurant. The salmon, vegetables and potatoes were perfectly done. The owners and staff are pleasant and welcoming. I sat on the patio which was very comfortable and had a delightful evening. Always a great place to go.

It was my husband's and my first time coming to this restaurant at the recommendation of my mom who has been here before and loved it. She accompanied us and we also had my 4 year old with us tonight. We made reservations for 5:30 because we had plans for the evening, and we had our 4 year old son with us. We were given our appetizers and bread in good time, but then waited 2 and a half hours to get our main courses. Our server was short with us when we said we were pressed for time and were waiting for a while for our entrees. When it finally came, it was very good, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of one. At the end of the meal, our 4 year old had been so patient, but was extremely tired. He was supposed to get ice cream for dessert that was included in his kids meal, but by the time we got our food it was 8:00pm. The server forgot that he was even supposed to get ice cream and asked if she should bring it out at that time, after I had taken him out of the restaurant. They deemed they were extremely busy and that's why it took 2 and a half hours, but it wasn't that busy for the first hour and a half we were there. There was no compensation for any part of our meal, which was a put off considering we dropped $300 on our meals that we waited 2 and a half hours to eat.

We came here to celebrate my grandparents’ 55th anniversary, and it made for such a lovely dinner! I wasn’t super hungry so I went with the chicken Caesar salad — and wow, was I surprised by the portion! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy (not dry at all), and the salad itself was fresh and flavorful. Simple choice, but honestly one of the best Caesar salads I’ve had in a while. Great atmosphere, great food. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

We came to a nice dinner Saturday night around 8:30pm, 4 people. Restaurant was empty and the service was extremely poor. We didn’t receive our order after 25 minutes which we couldn’t eat and asked for a salad with chicken which we surprised to see that a plate with salad and couple of pieces of chicken cost over 32$ and a glass of small Diet Coke was $5. These prices are not even match to Toronto downtown, not to mentioned that the food was not good

We were very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant during our vacation. The service was unprofessional and inattentive throughout our meal. Staff seemed disorganized and not particularly welcoming, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable.
In addition, the prices were extremely high, and unfortunately, there was no justification for the cost. The dish we ordered was overpriced for what it offered – both in terms of quality and portion size. It felt like we were paying a premium for something that simply didn’t deliver.
Overall, we expected a much better experience and unfortunately cannot recommend this place. There are many other restaurants that offer better value and a more pleasant dining experience.

We had a very nice experience at this restaurant. The service and atmosphere was great. It felt homey and familiar and the staff was super friendly. I'm giving the food 3/5 not because it was bad but because I've eatan in some great italian restaurants and it would not be fair to them to rate this one above 3. But the food was actually quite good.
I went with family for a birthday and had a fairly enjoyable time. There were some misses like the cream of broccoli soup and it looked as though our salad portions were significantly smaller than other people around us, especially those who came later. Service was slow and our waters weren’t topped off as often as we would like. Also, one of us asked for roast potatoes on the side of our food but got the baked potato instead. However, the steak was cooked to perfection and the lobster was great. The issue came as we asked for lobsters on the side of our steaks as we wanted the 14oz and 10oz strip loins. Although the 10oz is cheaper than the filet mignon that comes with the surf and turf we were charged for the two lobster dinner. If we knew that we would’ve just paid for another entree and got all the fixings instead of paying the same price for adding it on the side.
If you are willing to pay top dollar for the food I would recommend. But read the menu and make sure you are getting the correct deal as some of the specials are the same as the regular menu but charge more.
