Edward's Bistro is a rare thing - a truly family restaurant, owned by a family doing really good home cooking well. In the old Jade Gardens space, tastefully redecorated, my mom and I had chicken wings - breaded, crunchy with a bbq sauce on the side, perfectly medium-rare duck a l'orange (i went with the steamed rice), and a very rich lamb shank with nice mash. Had very good friends from Ottawa visit last Sunday. We made reservations. Edward's Bistro did not disappoint. Rosi's spring rolls were delicious! The pizza was amazing and I've never had such a tasty chicken tetrazzini. The atmosphere was so relaxing and Rosi was so delightful. The lemon cheese cake was to die for! The food is fresh and the presentation is first class! Kudos to Jason, Rosi and Edward. Edward's Bistro has gained new patrons from Ottawa.
