Esca is an upscale Italian resto bar in downtown Cornwall. We always order out to dine at home, but it has great ambiance and even better food, even dishes for Italian living vegans! It's all good, but I'm a Pepperoni pizza fan. The crust is fantastic and I can attest that the chef couldn't possibly fit more Pepperoni on it if s/he tried. Mmmm.

I hosted a surprise 40th for a large group of people and it couldn’t have gone better! Everyone agreed that the atmosphere, the food and the service was excellent! My friend from Montreal was impressed to see a restaurant like this one in Cornwall. We look forward to returning. Thanks again Esca!

Favourite restaurant in Cornwall !!!!!! So consistent, wait is never too long, 2 ply toilet paper in Restroom. House made hot sauce is top tier and strawberry mojitos are my favourite beverage on the planet

I would have rated this higher but one of the staff was rude and very unattentive. When i arrived solo at 715pm there were at least 4 empty two person tables and i was directed straight to the bar i wasnt even asked table or bar. After i sat down the same server was at the bar in front of me and after 5 minutes without even asking me if i wanted a drink she wandered off too attend to other tables for at least 15 min. Another waitress eventually asked me if i wanted anything probably 20 minutes in. I wanted to walk out but i was told that the pizza was realy good so i stayed. After ordering my pizza it took another thirty five minutes to receive it small pizza wuth cheese and prosciutto. That would be normal on most occasions but there was one large group who were being served dessert and 3 other tables with 3 wait staff and 2 to 3 kitchen staff I was thinking 10 to 15 minutes at the most. When the pizza finally arrived at 745 i was a little upset because i was told the Bar was closing at 800, way too early too close. The pizza was really good and the waitress who took my order did take the time too converse and acknowledge my existence and verify that the pizza was good. Unfortunately i was already very displeased with the orginal server and the wait time for such a simple order. As i did not want staff tonstay beyond closing i asked to take half if the pizza home.

Nice restaurant, nice service, although I’m not to sure about the pizza. It had flavour but not sure what the crust was. Pre fab??? this wasn’t like pizza dough thin, more like a hard biscuit crust. I was excited to go here but I won’t be hurrying back for the pizza.Looking at pictures of pizzas from other reviews…. This is not what I got.

The food and atmosphere are sure to please anyone. To top it off, service is done with a smile, making sure all is to our expectations. I highly recommend you don't forget to reserve during the weekend.
What a fabulous spot! The pizza dough was perfectly cooked with gourmet toppings. Highly recommend!!!

The best handcrafted pizza with lot of varieties. The ambience is awesome and great for parties and dine in’s. I ordered Veggie pizza and it turned out to be delicious. Would definetely recommend.

Drink was a strawberry mojito, the food was a chicken wrap with sweet potatoes fries, they were so tasty.
