Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters

I placed a mobile order 20 mins before I went to the restaurant and stopped at the drive thru to pick it up. I'm told that they can't open the window. (Please put a sign up or block the drive-thru if it can't be used).
I went in, and had to wait an extra 25 mins. There was no one in the restaurant aside from a door dash or something driver waiting the same time.i did. He was even in there before I was.
There wasn't any slaw left, just that Mac and cheese. And my taters were cold and saggy. I asked for a ranch dip.sauce, and they had to go in the back to fill a small plastic container with sauce from a bottle instead of the little dip that they used to have.
The last time I had gone to the place was several months ago, but it was the first time I had to wait 45 mins for 8 pieces of chicken and some taters thst were cold and soggy. Bot sure what happened to this place. There was only one person in the kitchen plus the one on front.
Too bad, because this used to be the best chicken place.

40 + minutes to get our food. Ordered in advance at 5:19 PM. Got there at 5:27 PM. We were told it would be 5 minutes. Did not get our food until after 6:00 PM.

We notified the staff member working that at least two other couples ordered significantly later than us (we saw and heard them order at the cash) and they got their food MUCH faster. The staff member said “I understand.”

When they brought our food, they did give us a free $3 banana pie (which we did not want). We know places are short staffed and can take longer. The issue is people ordering twenty minutes after us getting their food first. It should be noted that their orders were nearly identical to ours.

We also had to go up twice after noticing they forgot our dips and drinks.

They also put our biscuits right on top of our cookies with nothing separating them, which I find strange.

Would not recommend this location at all.

I am moving the rating from 5 stars to 2 stars because of my recent experience.

I ordered a 13-piece feast on 23rd October. I repeat the same order on Oct 27th again. The Oct 27th order was cancelled by Mary Brown (I have pictures of order cancellations by Mary Brown). When I called the store, they said that they have evidence of the order delivery. When I further told them I had not received the order, the Mary Brown representative made me feel like a liar, which is humiliating. I asked them to share evidence, and they shared the picture of Oct 23rd. When I noticed the date on the evidence, your representative put the call on hold to talk to a higher-up. After recognizing their blatant lie, the representative said that she would speak with the driver and call me back. After taking my money, they tried to scam me, kept my family waiting for food for an hour, and never returned my call.
Is this your new quality of service where your new management takes pride in cheating? Plus, the person working in the kitchen uses their bare hand to handle food.

I have sent an email as per your instruction, but still no response after a month.

really good staff (i was able to call in my order even though not a typical thing they do), food was good, wedges pretty salty but I think thats just the way Mary does them. prices not cheap but special was reasonable. chicken bigger and way better than kfc. website is atrocious.... you cant even place an order without registering an account. lol

Mary Brown’s chicken is amazing. I love their potatoes, and the spicy chicken really has a great kick. The chicken is always well made and definitely worth the drive whenever I get the chance.

Got my food to go. I should have checked before I left. Ordered original,but got spicy.

The chicken is really good, and the service is excellent. The staff is very approachable, and one of the girls even asked if we were okay. The atmosphere was nice! The sauce was a bit salty, but overall I still highly recommend Mary Brown’s Cornwall.
