My experience today at Riley's was not a good one. Before continuing, the bread was delicious as always. So my rating for that is a five star. When I went in today there were 2 people ahead of me, so not overly busy. I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce and mayo. It was thrown together and wrapped in 3 seconds flat. Trying to eat the first half without wearing it was very challenging. Luckily I had napkins in my packsack. When I unwrapped the second half (which was only a quarter) all I could see was a little sliver of bread with turkey slathered in mayo bulging out. There was nowhere to hold it without getting full of mayo. So I went back to show them. According to the sandwich maker, that's how they make their sandwiches, oh, and there bread has air pockets so the mayo seeps through. Really?? My advice to that young lady: take more time and care when making someone's sandwich. Most people don't mind waiting.
awesome the beat Pumpkin spice muffins I’ve ever had in my life. You’re my favourite now.

Legendary, this bakery is a landmark in the history of Cornwall. If you were born and raised in this city add never had a baked good, sweet treat, bread or meaty super sandwich you have missed out! Soup is available and is self serve, they now have some picnic tables outside which is a new addition. Very old school concept, a till from years ago and orders are hand written. I recommend the oatmeal cookies, namino bar and a thick cut turkey sandwich on whole wheat with plenty of mustard, enjoy!

The sandwiches are fantastic—generous and satisfying for the price. The cookies are exceptional; I've never had one so delicious. The customer service is excellent as well. Highly recommend!

By far the worst customer service ever!! Went there for 10:00am when they open. They opened late first of all and when the lady asked what we wanted we requested a sandwich. The lady at the front told people at the back, and they said loudly, " Well, they can wait. We're busy" I was extremely surprised by the response they gave.My husband and I laughed because on the door it says to please shop local. We tried and received horrible service. You just lost a customer permanently!!
