“Excellent espresso. Okay, 5 star is typically reserved for only a handful of the very best, but this is truly 4 - 4.5 star coffee. A touch light on the start, but the body builds as you work your way through the shot, & it doesn't get cloudy or muddy, instead various flavours unfold to a long sweet finish. A bit more acidity would be a personal preference. A great surprise while driving through town. Worth the detour.”

The service was great, the atmosphere was extremely friendly, and the food was amazing. We ordered the Molcajete Mixto. It was delicious and the perfect amount of food for the four of us. “We took our cousin from Alymer to The Main last Saturday. I am writing this because of her comments. We had told her it was our favourite dinner restaurant in town and she quickly found out why. She had the 3 Napkin Burger (?) and loved it! It made me realize just how great this restaurant is. She commented about the decor, particularly the fantastic Christmas tree. It made me realize that every time we have been to The Main over the years, the food has always been excellent, the service great, and a guaranteed good evening out. I wish that pickerel could be added to the menu - we love the perch however. Thanks to Heather and Tom for providing such a nice relaxed atmosphere in this restaurant gem.”

“We decided to pick up Capri after we heard about the new owner. When I arrive at the establishment I was greeted in a friendly manner. The place was very clean and the owner was very friendly! He offered me a couple cans of pop on the house and that was very generous of him. The pizza was probably one of the best pizzas I had in years! Very generous on the toppings and very tasty. I will definitely be returning to Capri Essex soon!”
